Five Tips For Finding Your Dream Wedding Dress

If you're newly engaged, you may be wondering where to start when it comes to wedding dress shopping + finding the bridal gown of your dreams. Don't worry, babe - we've put together a few tips to help!

1. Set your price point

Although it isn't always the most fun part of the process, it's so important to know how much you're comfortable spending on your wedding gown before heading into your appointment!

[Don't forget to consider additional budget for alterations! Alterations are a game changer and are necessary for any bridal gown, whether you purchase a designer sample gown with us or order a brand new dress from a traditional boutique!]

2. The fewer appointments, the better

We know, the FOMO is real, and you may feel like you need to visit every bridal boutique in the area to know if you've truly found THE dress. The truth is, keeping things simple with only a few appointments [or just one!] will keep your stress down. And remember, it only takes one dress - when you know, you know!

3. Ignore the sizes

Let's just all agree to ignore those size tags, because truthfully those numbers don't define us! To put it simply, bridal sizing runs small (like, really small) - expect to go up 1-2 sizes.

This is why we pull gowns for you. Trust your stylist - they know how each designer runs and what will and will not fit you. We're all about empowering our brides, and putting you in a dress that doesn't fit certainly doesn't do that!

4. Do some research, but come with an open mind

We love to see a Pinterest board filled with all the wedding inspo to get an idea your vision! Remember to also come to your bridal appointment with an open mind. Something you never would have pictured yourself in may be the gown of your dreams!

5. Shop in-store, online, or try on at home with Luxe Redux Bridal!

We offer our brides 3 ways to shop, so no matter where you are or what your wedding planning journey looks like, we've got you, babe!
