Ohio Statehouse Wedding | Inspo From Our Founder + CEO's Wedding Day

On this day 11 years ago, our very own Founder + CEO Lindsay had the wedding of her dreams and said ‘I do’ to her husband, Kurt, who also doubles as our CFO, at the Ohio Statehouse in Downtown Columbus. The magnificent architecture and facade of the Statehouse, paired with the sophisticated and intricate details of the day, made Lindsay + Kurt’s wedding one we are timelessly enamored with.

The Details

Each detail of the day was magnificent and intentional, representing both Lindsay, Kurt, and their love for each other. From the soft peach hues and garden roses throughout, to the accessories that she paired with each of her wedding looks, there was something grand and luxurious no matter where guests looked. Outfitted with a custom Toni Frederici veil, Paris by Debra Moreland accessories, and three different pairs of shoes, every detail was thoughtfully curated to create an exclusive, once in a lifetime look for our bride.

The Looks

Elegant and classic throughout the entire weekend, we are still in awe at all of Lindsay’s wedding weekend looks. From rehearsal dinner to reception, each look was elevated, and timeless, offering a glimpse of her personality in each attire change.

REHEARSAL LOOK

Lindsay started her wedding weekend with a clean, asymmetrical, and timeless midi dress for her rehearsal dinner.

CEREMONY LOOK

Not only was Lindsay's ceremony look feminine, romantic, and detailed - it was everything we think of when we think classic bridal. Lindsay always knew that she wanted a lace gown, and her 3/4 sleeve lace build up further elevated her classic bridal look.

RECEPTION LOOK

Lindsay's reception look was nothing short of modern and chic. With a cat-eye bodice and immaculate train, this look paired perfectly with the sophisticated and intricate details throughout the reception and in the architecture of the Statehouse itself.
